Chestnut Hill Candle Co. is a family-owned and operated business located at the top of the Northern panhandle in West Virginia. Started in 2001 as a hobby, our business has quickly grown into a full time venture. We use only the highest quality ingredients in our hand poured soy candles including our own unique blend of soybean and cottonseed wax. Superior to soy alone, our bean and seed blend offers a higher scent concentration with a creamier finish. We are dedicated to a quality product and excellent customer service. WARNING - Failure to follow these instructions could result in fire or injury!
- Keep out of reach of children
- Natural wax is attractive to animals, Keep out of the reach of pets
- Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings, or any other flammable material
- Keep wick trimmed to 1/4"
- Burn on a stable heat resistant surface
- Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time or until a 3/4" deep melt pool is achieved. Extinguish, trim and re-light
- Never use S'toppers®, Candle Cappers® or other products designed for one wick candles with Chestnut Hill products.
- Keep out of drafts
- Do not move a burning candle

Never leave a burning candle unattended
The wicks used in our candles are natural cotton wicks. 100% Cotton wicking provides us with a natural alternative to standard zinc wick, however, it does tend to smolder a bit when extinguished. To avoid messing up the beautiful scent you have filled your room with, we suggest using one of the following methods of extinguish your candle:
- Use a candle snuffer,
- Quickly dip the tip of the wick into the melted pool and stand it back up,
- *Use a fire-resistant lid to smother the flame. [our tins lids all work perfect for this]
